Uriel Juvenal charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Juvenal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Uriel Juvenal hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Samuel Cebrian took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Americo Cilio. Americo Cilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Estrella Austral's Casimiro Matthew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Cilio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nicolas Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Severino Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Cilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colón FC's Gaspar Hodei got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Ermegildo Goito got a very nice opportunity to score, but Candido Michael was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Matthew in the 34th minute of play forced Colón FC's goalkeeper Americo Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Casimiro Matthew ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Cilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Samuel Cebrian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrella Austral fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

In the 52nd minute, Anacleto Montxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Americo Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Cebrian in the 58th minute of the match. Candido Michael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Hodei in the 62nd minute of play. Casimiro Matthew in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Americo Cilio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 68 minutes, Ermegildo Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Goito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Florencio Franco came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Colón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Franco couldn't finish the play. If Casimiro Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Americo Cilio managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Estrella Austral's Casimiro Matthew fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the game, Severino Kiliz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Americo Cilio. Severino Kiliz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After having played for 89 minutes, Casimiro Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrella Austral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Matthew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Americo Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Kiliz in the 91st minute of play. Estrella Austral played a much better game than Colón FC and deserved their victory. The Colón FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
