Americo Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Cilio made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Antonio Parente sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Uriel Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes of play, C.A. Quilmes's Antonio Parente made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Cilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to C.A. Quilmes getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Froilan Eusko hit a great ball. Gaspar Hodei struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fermin Hulberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón FC. Americo Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Eusko in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the C.A. Quilmes defense, Pedro Toribio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Hulberto. The C.A. Quilmes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Hulberto should have stopped the shot. Americo Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Americo Cilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, C.A. Quilmes's Americo Cilio threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Froilan Eusko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the game, Antonio Parente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Americo Cilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Americo Cilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Eusko in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Froilan Eusko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Americo Cilio. Froilan Eusko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Americo Cilio was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Antonio Parente capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonio Parente really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. In the 44th minute, Antonio Parente made a precise shot to the right of Americo Cilio. Colón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. In the 46th minute, Pedro Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Eusko to make the kick off. Americo Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froilan Eusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Cilio came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Quilmes's Severino Javiar. But to his dismay, Severino Javiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. After 61 played minutes Colón FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Hodei. Americo Cilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Colón FC's Gaspar Hodei in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Quilmes's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Colón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Parente came free, but Americo Cilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.A. Quilmes's Gösta Källberg got a free kick in the 67th minute. Fermin Hulberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Franco went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Froilan Eusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Cilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-3. Americo Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Parente in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, C.A. Quilmes's Froilan Eusko made it 9-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Hodei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fermin Hulberto. That made the score 9-4 in the 84 minute of play. Gregorio Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Americo Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Colón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Jacob to maneuver through the defense. When Antonio Parente came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the C.A. Quilmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Parente couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Froilan Eusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Cilio was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.A. Quilmes fully deserved thier win.
