Freddy Evangelista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Canor's late challenge caught a Densey Blue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Canor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Densey Blue booed when Colón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Chesus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Americo Cilio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Freddy Evangelista came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Colón FC's Gaspar Hodei. But to his dismay, Gaspar Hodei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Colón FC's Pedro Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Densey Blue's Aaron Inko got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Florencio Franco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Evangelista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Florencio Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Colón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Hodei to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Toribio in the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Colón FC's Florencio Franco got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Densey Blue's Tobias Licerio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Pedro Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Evangelista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Hodei in the 34th minute of play forced Densey Blue's goalkeeper Freddy Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Densey Blue's Ubaldo Santo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Americo Cilio. That made the score 2-1 after 36 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Hodei in the 38th minute of play forced Densey Blue's goalkeeper Freddy Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Ubaldo Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Densey Blue and the Colón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubaldo Santo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Freddy Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Florencio Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Hodei took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Evangelista. Freddy Evangelista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When Colón FC's Gaspar Hodei in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Densey Blue's goalie prevented a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Densey Blue's goalkeeper Freddy Evangelista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Toribio. Freddy Evangelista was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Isidro Canor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidro Canor really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 59 minutes into the match, Pedro Toribio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Evangelista. Densey Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Toribio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Colón FC's Americo Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Licerio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Densey Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Inko to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Evangelista made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Pedro Toribio sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the game, one of Colón FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Densey Blue's Freddy Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Hodei in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Pedro Toribio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Evangelista was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Gaspar Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Americo Cilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Santo in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Hodei in the 87th minute of play forced Densey Blue's goalkeeper Freddy Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Evangelista was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Toribio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-6 in the 88 minute of play. Tobias Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Freddy Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Toribio got free with Freddy Evangelista in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Colón FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
