Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elvio Rumaldo kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Deportivo Merlo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gogo Dabi hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes Deportivo Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Matias Solomon. In the 6th match minute, Cochinoca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. Lino Costante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Solomon went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Elvio Rumaldo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lino Costante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Merlo. Ivan Madeo lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Lino Costante went to the wrong direction when Gogo Dabi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Cochinoca AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Rumaldo came free, but Lino Costante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Elvio Rumaldo sped through Cochinoca AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Costante. Lino Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Elvio Rumaldo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Cochinoca AFC's Lino Costante. Lino Costante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the game, Lázaro Bieito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Lino Costante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Cochinoca AFC booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Pancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Elvio Rumaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Pascual Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Merlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Costante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Costante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Dabi in the 68th minute. Elvio Rumaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Pascual Thomas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lino Costante. The goal made the score 0-9. Deportivo Merlo's Elvio Rumaldo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Cochinoca AFC booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Merlo's Elvio Rumaldo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Lino Costante was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Merlo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cochinoca AFC.
