Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 150) Florentino Sanchez made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Matias Solomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Laureano Froylan. The goal made the score 1-0. Deportivo Merlo's Boran Benlioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Quilino in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, one of Termofe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Termofe. Laureano Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Jakes tried in the 19th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Laureano Froylan a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 3-0. Boran Benlioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Quilino in the 28th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Termofe's Marcial Quilino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boran Benlioğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 33rd minute of the match, Matias Solomon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laureano Froylan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 35th minute Lázaro Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Bidun kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Boran Benlioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Florentino Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Termofe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Sanchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Elvio Rumaldo made the kick off in the second half. Elvio Rumaldo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Froylan. Laureano Froylan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Elvio Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Rumaldo in the 62nd minute of the match. Deportivo Merlo's Pascual Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonides Jakes charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonides Jakes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Deportivo Merlo booed when Termofe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Elvio Rumaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Merlo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Pascual Thomas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Froylan. Laureano Froylan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Merlo's Pascual Thomas got a free kick in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Deportivo Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Sanchez came free, but Boran Benlioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Florentino Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Merlo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
