Hugo Tipi scored 2-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Cerilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes of play, Estrellas del Norte's Everardo Atarratze made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Cerilo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiburcio Irrintzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Dolfos in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Tipi in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Cerilo saved Azterian FC from getting behind. When Raul Guzman fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azterian FC's protests and gave Raul Guzman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Estrellas del Norte booed when Azterian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Guzman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Pacorro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Pedro Endira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiburcio Irrintzi. The goal made the score 3-2. After a rather tough play, Azterian FC's Candido Millan got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Estrellas del Norte's Everardo Atarratze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filomeno Cerilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3.

After a defensive mix-up in Azterian FC's zone, Everardo Atarratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Cerilo came out of the goal and Everardo Atarratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Hugo Tipi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Cerilo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Azterian FC's Filomeno Cerilo got control of the ball when Hugo Tipi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Azterian FC's Raul Guzman made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
