In the 12th minute, Rogelio Claris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Eliu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th minute Alfonso Indar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Sarandí's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Claris came free, but Leo Eliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Indar in the 89th minute of play forced Sarandí's goalkeeper Leo Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Eliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Claris in the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogelio Claris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leo Eliu. That made the score 2-5 in the 92 minute of play. If Maximo Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
