Estrellas del Norte's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Atarratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Eliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrellas del Norte's goalkeeper Tiburcio Irrintzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Estrellas del Norte's Aloísio Matias in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio Matias in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Eliu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leo Eliu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 任荣延 went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Maximo Tancredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Eliu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Estrellas del Norte's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
