Camilo Poz's late challenge caught a C. A. Azucarera Argentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Poz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Camilo Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Camilo Poz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 8 minutes had been played. Azucarera Argentina's Baldomiro Tximitx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Teofilio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Azucarera Argentina reached it. In the 10th minute, Timoteo Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ambrosio Gonzales fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Azucarera Argentina's protests and gave Ambrosio Gonzales a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C. A. Azucarera Argentina getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ambrosio Gonzales hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Tximitx during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, C. A. Azucarera Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Tximitx to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, ROMEYCATA's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Izotz came free, but Gustavo Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Izotz in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Teofilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Izotz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ROMEYCATA's Gustavo Teofilio. Gustavo Teofilio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, C. A. Azucarera Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Cordearo came free, but Nemesio Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Reynaldo Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Azucarera Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Izotz took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Teofilio. Gustavo Teofilio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Izotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Teofilio was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 48th minute, Arsenio Arnalt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nemesio Osasun. The goal made the score 1-2. After the first half C. A. Azucarera Argentina were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Arnalt was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Luciano Phelipe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gustavo Teofilio, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, ROMEYCATA's Reynaldo Mark got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 65 minutes of play, ROMEYCATA's Erasmo Cordearo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Osasun was left in no man's land by his defense there! C. A. Azucarera Argentina's Luciano Phelipe got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nemesio Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Cordearo in the 75th minute of play. Gustavo Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Phelipe in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes ROMEYCATA got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Mark. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Izotz in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Teofilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astor Vincent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Gustavo Teofilio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Izotz in the 86th minute of play forced ROMEYCATA's goalkeeper Gustavo Teofilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Reynaldo Izotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Gustavo Teofilio made a huge save. Gustavo Teofilio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. In the 93rd match minute, C. A. Azucarera Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. The ROMEYCATA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C. A. Azucarera Argentina's performance. The match ended with a win for C. A. Azucarera Argentina.
