VIEDMA FC's Arturo Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Lindmark in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, David Lindmark fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ignacio Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Igor Zambujal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in VIEDMA FC's zone, David Lindmark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Duardo came out of the goal and David Lindmark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Ignacio Santikurtz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VIEDMA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Santikurtz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Lindmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Arturo Duardo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Lindmark showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Calaveras AFC's David Lindmark got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lindmark in the 31st minute of play. Ignacio Santikurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Zambujal having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Calaveras AFC's Arturo Duardo threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Lindmark, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arturo Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lindmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, VIEDMA FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Prudencio Fidele fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Tino to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Calaveras AFC's Oséias Dionísio got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Wincent Raflewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Zambujal came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by VIEDMA FC's Ignacio Santikurtz. But to his dismay, Ignacio Santikurtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gregorio Tino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Igor Zambujal made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Prudencio Fidele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guilherme Pires during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Calaveras AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
