Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sergio Amato kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Emilio Pabla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Culampajao Quilmeño's Joel Che played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Orkatz in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Culampajao Quilmeño booed when CAI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Mano didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Amato in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Millrick saved CAI from getting behind. Ruben Orkatz charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Orkatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CAI's Ruben Orkatz got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Culampajao Quilmeño's Candido James ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ezequiel Millrick. Ezequiel Millrick yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 18th match minute, CAI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Grabiel charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Grabiel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of CAI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Culampajao Quilmeño:s goal. Melchor Boniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Millrick having to interfere. When Sergio Amato came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Culampajao Quilmeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Amato couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes CAI got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Mano. When Horacio Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Culampajao Quilmeño's protests and gave Horacio Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Horacio Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Che showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Niva in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido James in the 36th minute of play forced CAI's goalkeeper Ezequiel Millrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Che made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Niva in the 37th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Fernendo was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Orkatz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Joel Che made a huge save. Ruben Orkatz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Joel Che didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAI. 59 minutes into the match, Melchor Boniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Millrick. CAI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Boniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Candido James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ezequiel Millrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Culampajao Quilmeño's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Lorenzo Fernendo scored to the left of an out of position Joel Che, making the score, 3-1. Sergio Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Millrick having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Culampajao Quilmeño's Candido James made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Millrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Sergio Amato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Culampajao Quilmeño fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Culampajao Quilmeño walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
