Melchor Boniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Rozarius's late challenge caught a Culampajao Quilmeño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 60th minute Bartolo Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchor Boniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Enrique Honrio made a huge save. Candido James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Honrio having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Primitivo Toribio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Culampajao Quilmeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Toribio couldn't finish the play.
