Carlos Nuñez's late challenge caught a RIVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Nuñez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Atamisqui AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes in the game, Niki Lauda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Enrique Honrio having to interfere. After having played for 5 minutes, Wu Li Zhi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wu Li Zhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute of the match, Niki Lauda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enrique Honrio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 11 minutes into the match, Niki Lauda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Honrio. Atamisqui AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niki Lauda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Wu Li Zhi in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrique Honrio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niki Lauda in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Honrio saved Atamisqui AFC from getting behind. Enrique Honrio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER's Wu Li Zhi. But to his dismay, Wu Li Zhi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Atamisqui AFC's Enrique Honrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Atamisqui AFC from getting a goal against them. Niki Lauda was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niki Lauda in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Honrio saved Atamisqui AFC from getting behind. If Niki Lauda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The RIVER fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when RIVER's Niki Lauda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. RIVER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Domingo Remigio in the 34th minute. The corner ended in Domingo Remigio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atamisqui AFC's Enrique Honrio did a great save. If Niki Lauda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Atamisqui AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Omar Vigil hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, one of Atamisqui AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atamisqui AFC. The goalkeeper, Enrique Honrio, was totally fooled by RIVER's Niki Lauda, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niki Lauda was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Niki Lauda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RIVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Niki Lauda scored 7-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Honrio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niki Lauda in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Eric Târban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Honrio. Atamisqui AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Târban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Niki Lauda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Honrio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. RIVER's Marcial Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Daunte in the 71st minute of play. Enrique Honrio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when RIVER's Niki Lauda shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 11-0 in the ordered_time% minute. RIVER's Rosendo Osorio was substituted for Marco Rudolfo. A collision led to Atamisqui AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alfonso Daunte hit a great ball. Enrique Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Lauda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niki Lauda charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niki Lauda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niki Lauda hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tobias Belmiro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When RIVER's Niki Lauda in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atamisqui AFC's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that RIVER were the better team. RIVER's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
