An unexpectedly hard shot by David Israel Carmel in the 24th minute of play forced TuViejaFC's goalkeeper Nunez Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelaria's Sergio Argi got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Hondo scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Manni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nunez Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute.
