If Nicolas Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Abascal in the 22nd minute of play forced Manzano's goalkeeper Pascual Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Atlantico FC's Lucio Sengrat to fire away a dangerous shot which Pascual Erramun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luciano Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Marcelo Salas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Atlantico FC's goalkeeper Segundo Sotero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Rutenio. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlantico FC! Atlantico FC's Segundo Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Pueblo in the 41st minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Felix Rutenio made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Atlantico FC booed when Manzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Pueblo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manzano's Constantino Pueblo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Segundo Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Salas in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Constantino Pueblo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Segundo Sotero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atlantico FC's Segundo Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Pueblo in the 70th minute of play. Florencio Rosalio charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Rosalio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Atlantico FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Florencio Rosalio hit a great ball. Segundo Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Breogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Segundo Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Salas in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Manzano got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Chano. 83 minutes into the match, Felix Rutenio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Segundo Sotero. Atlantico FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Rutenio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 86 minutes into the game, Americo Bartolome was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlantico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manzano the free kick. After 86 played minutes Atlantico FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Bartolome.
