After some careless play in the Manzano defense, Gregorio Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Erramun. The Manzano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Erramun should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Gregorio Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Pueblo in the 19th minute of play forced Milan Evita's goalkeeper Enio Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Christian Brais cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pascual Erramun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Constantino Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enio Nunes was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Enio Nunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. When Constantino Pueblo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manzano's protests and gave Constantino Pueblo a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Manzano got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Pueblo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Dantel to make the kick off. Manzano's Pascual Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Barbosa in the 53rd minute of play. Anselmo Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gustavo Dantel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enio Nunes having to make a save. Cosme Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Nunes having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Gustavo Dantel made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Milan Evita's Enio Nunes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
