Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Atlantico FC's Americo Bartolome started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Nicolas Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fermin Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Aírton Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Pudes in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Sotero saved Atlantico FC from getting behind. Segundo Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Atlantico FC's Segundo Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Pudes in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Fermin Pudes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atlantico FC's Segundo Sotero. Segundo Sotero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Ishmael hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Segundo Sotero came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Benard's Celso Milian. But to his dismay, Celso Milian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 37 minutes, Fermin Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Pudes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute Fermin Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute Benard were awarded a corner. Amador Norino went to the cornerflag to take it.

The wind increased when Fermin Pudes made the kick off in the second half. When Fermin Pudes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Benard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Pudes couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Florencio Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlantico FC and the Benard players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Benard booed when Atlantico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Rosalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Bero in the 58th minute of the match. Nicolas Iraitz charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Iraitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th match minute, Atlantico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. Aírton Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Sotero having to interfere. Fermin Pudes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Sotero having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Fermin Pudes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlantico FC's Segundo Sotero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Iraitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Amador Norino came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Benard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Norino couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Atlantico FC's Nicolas Iraitz got a free kick in the 74th minute. Fermin Pudes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Sotero having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Benard's Fermin Pudes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Segundo Sotero. Segundo Sotero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Fermin Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guido Bero struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Segundo Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benard. The Benard supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Benard would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
