Segurola y Habana's Adrian Eneko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Amaya in the 5th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Segurola y Habana got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Berriotxoa. Papagayos AFC's Tobias Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Ubelteso in the 21st minute of play. When Angel Martxel came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Segurola y Habana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Martxel couldn't finish the play. Adrian Eneko made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Clodoveo Amaya sent off a good shot on target. Federico Munio struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Adrian Eneko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papagayos AFC. 36 minutes into the match, Segurola y Habana's Wilfredo Firman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Cordeara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loco Dalla Libera might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Cordeara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loco Dalla Libera ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 44 minutes, Angel Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Segurola y Habana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Martxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Amaya to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Segurola y Habana got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Fortun. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Segurola y Habana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clodoveo Amaya was slow to take the kick. During this time Papagayos AFC's players had a chance to rest. Clodoveo Amaya made a great header on Papagayos AFC's corner, it was just that Segurola y Habana's Adrian Eneko managed to reach the ball for a save. If Angel Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Cordeara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Papagayos AFC booed when Segurola y Habana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Ubelteso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Segurola y Habana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Papagayos AFC.
