Delmar Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Breogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Manzano were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Candelaria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cazimir Zegreanu took the corner. If Constantino Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Manzano's Gustavo Dantel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delmar Rencio. Delmar Rencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Marcelo Salas could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Delmar Rencio however easily saved by the left post. Sergio Argi might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Erramun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Argi ran back to his position shaking his head. Candelaria's Delmar Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Breogan in the 29th minute of play. When David Israel Carmel came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Israel Carmel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Manzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvi Dahlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Erramun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Israel Carmel went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Candelaria's Delmar Rencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria from getting a goal against them. Delmar Rencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Dantel in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Gustavo Dantel put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Delmar Rencio. 43 minutes into the match, David Israel Carmel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Erramun. Pascual Erramun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Israel Carmel went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. David Israel Carmel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Candelaria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 68 played minutes Manzano got a freekick which was hit by Frank de Boer. In the 71st minute, Rolando Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Breogan in the 83rd minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Delmar Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manzano were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Candelaria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cazimir Zegreanu took the corner. After taking down the ball on Manzano's corner Cazimir Zegreanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Delmar Rencio quite easily take care of the ball. Delmar Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Breogan in the 91st minute of play. If Gustavo Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candelaria's Delmar Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Breogan in the 97th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Hondo during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 97 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Hondo. The Candelaria players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Manzano from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
