Arnaldo Tallia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferman Cañadas having to make a save. Ferman Cañadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Cordaro in the 17th minute of the match. Ferman Cañadas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Paez went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ferman Cañadas came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Iguarán FC's Gonzalo Cordaro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Cordaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Astor Bastiaro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Paez in the 33rd minute of play forced Vilelas's goalkeeper Ferman Cañadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Cordaro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Hugo Checa made a precise shot to the right of Ferman Cañadas. Vilelas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Fabian Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Vilelas's Ferman Cañadas got control of the ball when Guaberto Paez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jimeno Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilelas's Ferman Cañadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Checa in the 69th minute of play. Ferman Cañadas was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Guaberto Paez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guaberto Paez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. In the 74th minute Hugo Checa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferman Cañadas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferman Cañadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Paez in the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Hugo Checa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferman Cañadas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Vilelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferman Cañadas should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Vilelas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonzalo Cordaro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ferman Cañadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaberto Paez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferman Cañadas. That made the score 1-10 in the 92 minute of play. Vilelas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Gonzalo Cordaro scored to the left of an out of position Ferman Cañadas, making the score, 1-11.
