With an all-out effort, Iguarán FC's Anacleto Peruxu threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hugo Checa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 8th match minute, Vamos los PIBES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Bembe to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Peruxu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gonzalo Cordaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute Maximino Oroitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Bernardino Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Gervasio Otsoa from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Anacleto Peruxu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 15 played minutes Vamos los PIBES got a freekick which was hit by Paolo James. Arnaldo Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Peruxu having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Iguarán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Burni to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Hugo Checa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anacleto Peruxu. Hugo Checa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Vamos los PIBES's goalkeeper Anacleto Peruxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Cordaro. Vamos los PIBES's Anacleto Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Checa in the 33rd minute of play. Anacleto Peruxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Tallia in the 34th minute. Anacleto Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Gonzalo Cordaro took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Peruxu. Anacleto Peruxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Iguarán FC's Isidro Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Bembe in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Cordaro was the one to do the kick off. The Vamos los PIBES fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Vamos los PIBES's Alejandro Baldovino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gonzalo Cordaro put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anacleto Peruxu. In the 71st minute, Gervasio Otsoa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vamos los PIBES's Anacleto Peruxu didn't even have to move. Anacleto Peruxu came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Iguarán FC's Gonzalo Cordaro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Cordaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Gonzalo Cordaro put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anacleto Peruxu.
