The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the La Albiceleste defense, Augusto Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Lonzo. The La Albiceleste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Lonzo should have stopped the shot. Victorino Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Atletico Villa Bosch's Victorino Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Chus in the 9th minute of play. Atletico Villa Bosch's Victorino Aguirre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Villa Bosch from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Atletico Villa Bosch's goalkeeper Victorino Aguirre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Fero. 16 minutes into the match, Bruno Ekain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Lonzo. La Albiceleste's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Ekain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fabricio Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Walme in the 19th minute of play. Humberto Fero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victorino Aguirre firmly grabbed it by the left post. 27 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Walme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Villa Bosch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Albiceleste the free kick. Dalmacio Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A collision led to La Albiceleste getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Humberto Fero hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Chus got free with Victorino Aguirre in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Dalmacio Walme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Lonzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 46th minute Americo Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

52 minutes in the game, Albano Galo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabricio Lonzo having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Albano Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Villa Bosch and the La Albiceleste players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Albiceleste booed when Atletico Villa Bosch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Baladi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Galo in the 78th minute of play forced La Albiceleste's goalkeeper Fabricio Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Atletico Villa Bosch's Fabricio Lonzo threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bruno Ekain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dalmacio Walme struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fabricio Lonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Villa Bosch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Galo in the 86th minute of play forced La Albiceleste's goalkeeper Fabricio Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dalmacio Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Villa Bosch's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Walme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Lonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Walme got free with Fabricio Lonzo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fabricio Lonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The La Albiceleste fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atletico Villa Bosch were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
