Gao Fei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Serafino Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Yuan Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Du got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Ricardo Guillelmus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gao Fei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Su Yuan Yu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Serafino Frantzes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Su Yuan Yu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Serafino Frantzes made a huge save. HUACHIPATO FC's Modesto Cesario got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Silvio Amato got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Su Yuan Yu got free with Serafino Frantzes in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Su Yuan Yu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Real Racing Club were awarded a corner. Ismael Brun went to the cornerflag to take it. Real Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after HUACHIPATO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismael Brun took the corner. Real Racing Club's Su Yuan Yu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serafino Frantzes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th minute, Marin Luican hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimeno Clemencins short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Gao Fei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alejo Salvino hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Su Yuan Yu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Serafino Frantzes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafino Frantzes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Su Yuan Yu's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of HUACHIPATO FC booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Luican didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Emanuel Frutos from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Gao Fei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when HUACHIPATO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rauno Valgupera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Celso Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Salvino. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the HUACHIPATO FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
