Váldson do Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Ulizes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Váldson do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Ulizes having to interfere. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Váldson do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Váldson do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Bermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Alberdi FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Hodei. 53 minutes into the match, Váldson do Vale notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Alberdi FC's Florentino Ulizes. Florentino Ulizes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Gilesindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Ulizes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Gilesindo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90thth minute of the game Váldson do Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alberdi FC's Florentino Ulizes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of PieLar FC booed when Alberdi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes, PieLar FC's Lino Fonda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florentino Ulizes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PieLar FC reached it. When PieLar FC's Váldson do Vale in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alberdi FC's goalie prevented a goal. PieLar FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
