Arnulfo Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17thth minute of the game Alonzo Brais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A River Plate's Arnaldo Mikolas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Clemente Cordeara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Mikolas skillfully saved the ball. Alonzo Brais struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Arnaldo Mikolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castex. 22 minutes into the match, C.A River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Lesardo came free, but Arnaldo Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Florencio Lesardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Lesardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Alonzo Brais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A River Plate's Arnaldo Mikolas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th match minute, Castex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Qwinton struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Severo Herensuge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A River Plate. The supporters of C.A River Plate booed when Castex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gregorio Txilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castex's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Txilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Mikolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Florencio Lesardo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Castex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Lesardo couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonzo Brais to strike the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Brais in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnaldo Mikolas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Castex's Angel Navarro got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 54 minutes, Eduardo Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Qwinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Herensuge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venancio Urki during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Castex fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Castex's Florencio Lesardo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eduardo Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Herensuge having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Venancio Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Brais's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Arnaldo Mikolas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alonzo Brais did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Arnaldo Mikolas 87 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Mikolas came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Castex's Alonzo Brais. But to his dismay, Alonzo Brais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When the match was over Castex could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A River Plate throughout the match.
