Gregorio Txilar hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Severo Herensuge made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Aurelio Damario sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capitales suizos's goalkeeper Aldo Eyague, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Castex's Florencio Lesardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Eyague made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alonzo Brais sped through Capitales suizos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aldo Eyague. Aldo Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florencio Lesardo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castex's protests and gave Florencio Lesardo a yellow card for diving instead. Gaudencio Chorche was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 22nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Capitales suizos's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Brais came free, but Aldo Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Damario struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Severo Herensuge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capitales suizos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Ignatius in the 32nd minute of play forced Castex's goalkeeper Severo Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Cayetano Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Ignatius in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Herensuge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Castex's Florencio Lesardo got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute Cayetano Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Herensuge made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Cayetano Ignatius sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Brais in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Eyague saved Capitales suizos from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Alonzo Brais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonzo Brais to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Castex's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Ignatius came free, but Severo Herensuge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Kimetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Severo Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Aurelio Damario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Herensuge was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Capitales suizos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 77 minutes into the match, Capitales suizos's goalkeeper Aldo Eyague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Brais. Severo Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Ignatius in the 84th minute of the match. Severo Herensuge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Ignatius's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Severo Herensuge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Ignatius in the 89th minute of play. Aurelio Damario scored 3-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severo Herensuge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severo Herensuge came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Capitales suizos's Cayetano Ignatius. But to his dismay, Cayetano Ignatius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Capitales suizos were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
