Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ruben Ederono got the match started through his kick off. The Westie FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. C.A River Plate's Arnaldo Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Moularas in the 12th minute of play. Ivan Guilabertus hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Westie FC's Dimitris Moularas got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Westie FC's Özcan Sırat got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, C.A River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Moularas came free, but Arnaldo Mikolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Özcan Sırat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Mikolas was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Dimitris Moularas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dimitris Moularas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Westie FC's Esteve Calisto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Westie FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Esteve Calisto managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when C.A River Plate's Ruben Ederono fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute, Dimitris Moularas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Mikolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westie FC. The C.A River Plate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Westie FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özcan Sırat to make the kick off. C.A River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Özcan Sırat scored to the left of an out of position Arnaldo Mikolas, making the score, 0-4. In the 59th minute Özcan Sırat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Ruben Ederono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 96th minute, Dimitris Moularas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Westie FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
