With a left leg Arnaldo Mikolas saved C.A River Plate from getting behind. A collision led to Westie FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Evaristo Pedroso hit a great ball. Arnaldo Mikolas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özcan Sırat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Westie FC booed when C.A River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dimitris Moularas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Moularas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Mikolas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitris Moularas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Mikolas having to interfere. The supporters of Westie FC booed when C.A River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Theobald's late challenge caught a Westie FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Theobald helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A River Plate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 20 played minutes, when Westie FC:s Özcan Sırat calmly waited for C.A River Plate:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 27th minute, Özcan Sırat fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dimitris Moularas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When C.A River Plate's Ruben Ederono in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westie FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Ruben Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the C.A River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Ederono couldn't finish the play. Dimitris Moularas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Arnaldo Mikolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westie FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Arnaldo Mikolas came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Westie FC's Özcan Sırat. But to his dismay, Özcan Sırat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Moularas in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Mikolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimitris Moularas struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Arnaldo Mikolas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westie FC. When Özcan Sırat came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Westie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özcan Sırat couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Saturnino Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.A River Plate's Baldomero Theobald got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes C.A River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Qwinton. After some careless play in the C.A River Plate defense, Özcan Sırat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Mikolas. The C.A River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Mikolas should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özcan Sırat in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Mikolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes Westie FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Pedroso. After 88 played minutes C.A River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Ederono. Thanks to some nice moves Ruben Ederono could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Esteve Calisto however easily saved by the left post. Dimitris Moularas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Arnaldo Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özcan Sırat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Moularas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Mikolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Westie FC had played much better football throughout.
