Froilan Garoa came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by DON CARMELO IV's Christer Tolsson. But to his dismay, Christer Tolsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Club Atl. River Plate defense, Filip Schol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Garoa. The Club Atl. River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Garoa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Schol in the 27th minute of play forced Club Atl. River Plate's goalkeeper Froilan Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Schol in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Garoa saved Club Atl. River Plate from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Filip Schol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Garoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Rolando Luke charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Domiku stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Domiku hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. River Plate's Rolando Luke was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Club Atl. River Plate getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rolando Luke hit a great ball. The long shot by Remigio Quentin in the 63rd minute really tested Froilan Garoa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Froilan Garoa came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by DON CARMELO IV's Christer Tolsson. But to his dismay, Christer Tolsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Filip Schol who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Froilan Garoa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 73 minutes into the game, Salvador Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Froilan Garoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Club Atl. River Plate getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Benedicto Tab hit a great ball. River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Santos came free, but Froilan Garoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Nestor Curcio could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Froilan Garoa however easily saved by the left post.
