Carmelo Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Teo Ibañez hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Carmelo Acevedo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Gouin's David Colon. But to his dismay, David Colon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Colon got free with Carmelo Acevedo in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casimiro Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Orland in the 97th minute of play. The Millán fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gouin were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
