Casimiro Sesuldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gouin's Casimiro Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Edwardo in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Salvador Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Gouin's Maximino Louis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Perutxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Ruben Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Salvador Edwardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Sesuldo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Ciriaco Perutxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Louis in the 29th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Salvador Edwardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gouin's Casimiro Sesuldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Gouin's Clemente Rufo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciriaco Perutxo. Ciriaco Perutxo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. After 40 minutes of play, Villa Castells's Nicolas Arnas made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Sesuldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casimiro Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Edwardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Zacarias Ostadar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa Castells's Ciriaco Perutxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Rufo in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Rufo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruben Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Perutxo having to interfere. A collision led to Gouin getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raimundo Abalos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Arnas got free with Casimiro Sesuldo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casimiro Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Edwardo in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Villa Castells booed when Gouin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Arnass short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Casimiro Sesuldo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Casimiro Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Edwardo in the 72nd minute of the match. Casimiro Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Edwardo in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Castells's zone, Maximino Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Perutxo came out of the goal and Maximino Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Salvador Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Gouin's David Colon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Perutxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Villa Castells's Ciriaco Perutxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Rufo in the 83rd minute of play. Casimiro Sesuldo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Roger Linhares sent off a good shot on target. Guido Vermudo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. When Maximino Louis fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gouin's protests and gave Maximino Louis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gouin getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Maximino Louis hit a great ball. With a little luck, Gouin's Casimiro Sesuldo got control of the ball when Roger Linhares tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Villa Castells players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gouin from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
