Orlando Baraquiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Calafate got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Chan. Celedonio Bakar was a little too slow when Orlando Baraquiel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Omar Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Chan in the 26th minute of the match. Pablo Chale hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Red Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Quinteros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Baraquiel to make the kick off. Bernardino Quinteros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Guib having to make a save. Orlando Baraquiel took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Bakar. Celedonio Bakar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 66th minute, Orlando Baraquiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Orlando Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Orlando Baraquiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristobal Chan might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Guib. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Chan ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Iratxo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damian Dayam took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Omar Guib. Red Lions's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Bernardino Quinteros took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Omar Guib to make any attempt to save it. If Bernardino Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Calafate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Red Lions.
