The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Amado Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Rio was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Amado Nalo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amado Nalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Rio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Nalo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th match minute, Amparo Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. Denis Rio made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eleuterio Ekain sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Amado Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Rio was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Ildefonso Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Arnaldo Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 31st minute of the match Arnaldo Erruki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Rio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonides Ferdinand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Paz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Amado Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Rio having to interfere. When Aldo Kaiet fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amparo Victoria's protests and gave Aldo Kaiet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Amparo Victoria's Aldo Kaiet got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Nalo in the 42nd minute of play forced Amparo Victoria's goalkeeper Denis Rio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Ferdinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Nalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tucumancito's Leonides Ferdinand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Tucumancito from getting a goal against them. Denis Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Nalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amparo Victoria's Denis Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Geofredo in the 57th minute of play. When Domingos Paz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amparo Victoria's protests and gave Domingos Paz a yellow card for diving instead. Amado Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Amparo Victoria's Ovidio Lixandro got a free kick in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Domingos Paz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tucumancito's Leonides Ferdinand. Leonides Ferdinand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Elorri hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ovidio Lixandro, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Tucumancito's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Paz came free, but Leonides Ferdinand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Amadeo Deunoro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonides Ferdinand. The goal made the score 2-2. Leonides Ferdinand made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Amadeo Deunoro sent off a good shot on target. Denis Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Ekain in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Amparo Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Nalo came free, but Denis Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
