In the 9th minute Melquiades Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aquiles Honesto sped through Gordioro Futbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eleuterio Igon. After 12 played minutes Gordioro Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Medero. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Honesto in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Igon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eleuterio Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Gordioro Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Platon came free, but Eleuterio Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Albano Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Honesto in the 23rd minute of the match. Eleuterio Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Jusepe in the 42nd minute of play. Eleuterio Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Gordioro Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Can Dahi. Arsenio Luzea's late challenge caught a BWANA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Luzea helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Gordioro Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Luzea. The Gordioro Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BWANA FC were winning 1-3.

The audience was convinced that Fernan Platon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Igon was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zacarias Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot. BWANA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Weather was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Gordioro Futbol Club's Arsenio Luzea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arsenio Luzea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gordioro Futbol Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arsenio Luzea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Gordioro Futbol Club's Arsenio Luzea got a free kick in the 61st minute. 67 minutes into the game, Fernan Platon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Eleuterio Igon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The BWANA FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when BWANA FC's Fernan Platon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Honesto got free with Eleuterio Igon in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eleuterio Igon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquiles Honesto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 76 minute of play. The supporters of Gordioro Futbol Club booed when BWANA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingos Jusepe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eleuterio Igon. That made the score 1-7 in the 86 minute of play. Gordioro Futbol Club's Eleuterio Igon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Gordioro Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gordioro Futbol Club's Arnaldo Unax got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Domingos Jusepe fired a really elegant long shot, but Eleuterio Igon threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Tiburcio Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th play minute Aquiles Honesto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eleuterio Igon. 1-8. The Gordioro Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BWANA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
