Humberto Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Fe in the 8th minute of the match. Gaston Abancens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Otsando Llantaron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Bjorn Houtman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Theobald. EAU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bjorn Houtman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Caravaneta FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Caravaneta FC's Arnulfo Distiratsu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Llantaron in the 34th minute of play forced Caravaneta FC's goalkeeper Gaston Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes, Anacleto Erroman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EAU FC and the Caravaneta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anacleto Erroman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Paio got free with Gaston Abancens in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaston Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Miro in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnulfo Distiratsu was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Arnulfo Distiratsu took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Humberto Theobald to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Zacarias Fe took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Humberto Theobald to make any attempt to save it. Arnulfo Distiratsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Fe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. EAU FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Bjorn Houtman scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Theobald, making the score, 1-7. 70 minutes into the match, Albert Wijkstra notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of EAU FC's Humberto Theobald. Humberto Theobald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. EAU FC's Humberto Theobald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save EAU FC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Anacleto Erroman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aketza Hernandez shot from long distance in the 75th minute, but Humberto Theobald was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Caravaneta FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
