With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Farias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Macario kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ezequiel Tibalt scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejo Farias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute Miguel Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Roman Galo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 79 minutes of play, Mogigasta AFC's Octavio Macerio made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the final whistle sounded River plate left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mogigasta AFC.
