After 14 minutes, Tomás Refugio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avellaneda and the Mogigasta AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Avellaneda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Ludomir Jeziorkowski placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Aurelio Baruffa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fabian Haritzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Galvão was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. Beto Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Mogigasta AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Santo Itzaina hit a great ball. The supporters of Avellaneda booed when Mogigasta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Evelio Gai came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Gai couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Gai made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Evelio Gai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alejo Farias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Avellaneda getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Severiano Carlomagno hit a great ball. Alejo Farias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Victorino Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Ludomir Jeziorkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Laurin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Victorino Laurin stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Mogigasta AFC's defenders and the ball went out. Avellaneda appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. If Evelio Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Haritzeder having to interfere. Octavio Macerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fabian Haritzeder made a huge save. In the 92nd play minute Octavio Macerio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabian Haritzeder. 1-3. The Mogigasta AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
