The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sandro Tonali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Lugano Stones defense, Mariano Egoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Furtado. The Lugano Stones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Furtado should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Ubarna in the 20th minute of play forced Lugano Stones's goalkeeper Fabian Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Furtado came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FortinerosCaserosClub's Eulalio Ubarna. But to his dismay, Eulalio Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 27 minutes into the game, Severino Kimetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Amado Lia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sandro Tonali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Tonali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Amado Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Severino Kimetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lugano Stones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FortinerosCaserosClub the free kick. After 41 played minutes Lugano Stones got a freekick which was hit by Severino Kimetz. Denis Balasi scored 2-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half FortinerosCaserosClub were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lugano Stones's Fabian Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Egoi in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Lugano Stones booed when FortinerosCaserosClub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Rareș Roşoga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano Stones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Roşoga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Ponciano in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Sandro Tonali cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Amado Lia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FortinerosCaserosClub's Amado Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Kimetz in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Tonali in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Lia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes, Nicasio Ponciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FortinerosCaserosClub and the Lugano Stones players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amado Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Tonali in the 74th minute of the match. Fabian Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Balasi in the 77th minute. Lugano Stones's Fabian Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Ubarna in the 81st minute of play. With 82 minutes on the clock, Rene Oto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sandro Tonali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugano Stones's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Tonali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Lia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the game, Denis Balasi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabian Furtado. Denis Balasi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FortinerosCaserosClub walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
