Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnaldo Cai started the match with the kick off. Attilio Stefano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Patipan Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Azeari during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Agustin Azeari hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Attilio Stefano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Patipan Fillol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Attilio Stefano hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Arnaldo Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kjell Alsvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Kjell Alsvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patipan Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Justo Urbez put in a rough tackle. Patipan Fillol had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Rafael Haimar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Alsvik was the one to do the kick off. La Gallardeta's Amado Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patipan Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Alsvik in the 56th minute of play. Patipan Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Kjell Alsvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patipan Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patipan Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Chayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Alsvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patipan Fillol having to interfere. In the 77th minute Abel Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patipan Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Kjell Alsvik put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Patipan Fillol. After 81 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Alsvik. 87 minutes into the match, Kjell Alsvik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patipan Fillol. C.A.Cubano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjell Alsvik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Cubano's zone, Kjell Alsvik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patipan Fillol came out of the goal and Kjell Alsvik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the La Gallardeta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
