The audience was convinced that Pastor Aznaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Laurentzi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The supporters of Sportivo Belgrano booed when Cochinoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jonatan Timo made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Sportivo Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Mateus came free, but Flavio Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cochinoca's Silvio Cristofor got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sportivo Belgrano's Flavio Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Cristofor in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Sportivo Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Tomi to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Flavio Laurentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sportivo Belgrano's Flavio Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Aznaro in the 64th minute of play. Amador Jeraldo scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Laurentzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Amancio Abad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cochinoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Flavio Laurentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Aznaro in the 78th minute of play. Flavio Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Aznaro in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Belgrano's zone, Pastor Aznaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Laurentzi came out of the goal and Pastor Aznaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amador Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Laurentzi having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Amancio Abad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Laurentzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Pastor Aznaro sped through Sportivo Belgrano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavio Laurentzi.
