Flavio Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Rafael Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Sotil charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Sotil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kjell Alsvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Laurentzi having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kjell Alsvik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Laurentzi was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Alsvik in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Laurentzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Rafael Haimar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Laurentzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kjell Alsvik took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Laurentzi. Flavio Laurentzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 45th minute, Attilio Stefano made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Laurentzi. Sportivo Belgrano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

La Gallardeta's Amado Chayo was substituted for Attilio Stefano. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Timo was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Haimar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Laurentzi. That made the score 0-6 in the 53 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Rafael Haimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Laurentzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After some careless play in the Sportivo Belgrano defense, Kjell Alsvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Laurentzi. The Sportivo Belgrano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Laurentzi should have stopped the shot. Flavio Laurentzi made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Amado Chayo sent off a good shot on target. La Gallardeta's Esteban Leizarraga was substituted for Teodoro Delfino. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Belgrano's Romeo Nalo got a free kick in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Kjell Alsvik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Laurentzi, 0-10. Amado Chayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Flavio Laurentzi made a huge save. Flavio Laurentzi was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Rafael Haimar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Haimar really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. With a little luck, Sportivo Belgrano's Flavio Laurentzi got control of the ball when Amado Chayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Sportivo Belgrano defense, Kjell Alsvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Laurentzi. The Sportivo Belgrano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Laurentzi should have stopped the shot. When Rafael Haimar came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Haimar couldn't finish the play. La Gallardeta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
