In the 9th minute, Lugano Stones's Sandro Tonali ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elias Iratzeder. Elias Iratzeder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 19 minutes, Severino Kimetz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lugano Stones and the Sportivo Fidelazo - LH players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Lugano Stones got a freekick which was hit by Severino Kimetz. In the 21st play minute Sandro Tonali came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elias Iratzeder. 4-0. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lugano Stones! A sloppy throw-in by Felix Ordono in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lugano Stones's Sandro Tonali. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Fidelazo - LH's zone, Severino Kimetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Iratzeder came out of the goal and Severino Kimetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Kimetz in the 47th minute of play forced Sportivo Fidelazo - LH's goalkeeper Elias Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Gregory was the one to do the kick off. Severino Kimetz might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Iratzeder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Kimetz ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Bastiaro during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severino Kimetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Kimetz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Iratzeder having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Fidelazo - LH's Daniel Goito got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Severino Kimetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Iratzeder was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. If Severino Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Tonali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Iratzeder having to interfere. Lugano Stones were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sportivo Fidelazo - LH for a fine match.
