When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Aaron Urki sped through Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Segundo Benitez. In the 10th minute Uriel Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, CA La Chola's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Otoniel came free, but Juan Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Mateo Peruxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aquilino Rafe's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Rafe helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes CA La Chola got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Rafe. Juan Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Otoniel in the 24th minute of play. Juan Bide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Otoniel in the 25th minute of the match. Juan Bide came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres's Honorato Otoniel. But to his dismay, Honorato Otoniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tomás Ondino kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CA La Chola's Wilfredo Navarro got a free kick in the 31st minute. Juan Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Peruxu in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CA La Chola's zone, Honorato Otoniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Bide came out of the goal and Honorato Otoniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, CA La Chola's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Otoniel came free, but Juan Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Peruxu in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Primitivo Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Francho in the 48th minute of play forced CA La Chola's goalkeeper Juan Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Talleres were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorato Otoniel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Primeiro in the 52nd minute of play forced CA La Chola's goalkeeper Juan Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Otoniel didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 62nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Honorato Otoniel ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 63rd match minute, CA La Chola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Ondino to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Mikeldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Juan Bide made a huge save. CA La Chola's Juan Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Peruxu in the 66th minute of play. Honorato Otoniel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 72nd playminute. CA La Chola's Erubiel Chus was substituted for Aquilino Rafe. Talleres's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
