Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cosme Chesus kicked off to start the match. Barderos FC's Remigio Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Gilabert in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Barderos FC booed when Echegoyen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Iturri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Roberto Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Esdras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th minute, Marciano Tomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Gilabert in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Savion saved Barderos FC from getting behind. The supporters of Echegoyen FC booed when Barderos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Isaac Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milio Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Nunez Toribio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Echegoyen FC's Erasmo Hanni quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 18th match minute, Echegoyen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Savion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Gilabert's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes Barderos FC got a freekick which was hit by Iker Berriotxoa. Isaac Esdras hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Sixto Gilabert notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Barderos FC's Remigio Savion. Remigio Savion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alonzo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Sixto Gilabert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Savion. Barderos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Gilabert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Isaac Esdras kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Cosme Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Barderos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Chesus couldn't finish the play. Remigio Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Gilabert in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Echegoyen FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Urbes. With his leg Remigio Savion managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Echegoyen FC's Sixto Gilabert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alonzo Iturri took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Remigio Savion to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Gilabert got free with Remigio Savion in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Sixto Gilabert made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Savion. Barderos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Cosme Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Barderos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Chesus couldn't finish the play. Iker Berriotxoa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes Barderos FC got a freekick which was hit by Iker Berriotxoa. After recieving a nice pass, Echegoyen FC's Mariano Urbes tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sixto Gilabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Remigio Savion made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Cosme Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milio Ortega was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. The Barderos FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Barderos FC's Cosme Chesus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barderos FC's goalkeeper Remigio Savion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roberto Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Echegoyen FC's Erasmo Hanni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Savion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Barderos FC's goalkeeper Remigio Savion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Gilabert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Iturri in the 96th minute of play forced Barderos FC's goalkeeper Remigio Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Echegoyen FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
