The audience was convinced that Sixto Gilabert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donatello Armada was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Gilabert in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donatello Armada saved Vikingos FC from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Vikingos FC's Vinicio Bonadona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Milio Ortega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Echegoyen FC's Sixto Gilabert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donatello Armada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donatello Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Gilabert in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Gilabert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Doro to maneuver through the defense. Donatello Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Iturri in the 60th minute of play. Sixto Gilabert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Donatello Armada made a huge save. In the 64th match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Donatello Armada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Doro. In the game's 84th minute Echegoyen FC's Mariano Urbes took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Donatello Armada and thus the score was 2-1. Vikingos FC's Donatello Armada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Iturri in the 89th minute of play. Vikingos FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Echegoyen FC for a fine match.
