Tiburcio Iigo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Patrick Vander sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birjaio Herdozain, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Birjaio Herdozain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REY DE COPAS's Tiburcio Iigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Birjaio Herdozain made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Nesor got free with Ariel Rico in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Birjaio Herdozain took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Iigo. Tiburcio Iigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Hilario Fagildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Vander in the 72nd minute of the match. If Birjaio Herdozain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roma FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
