The Crespo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Maraman should have stopped the shot. Chivos's attentive Godo Munk managed to snatch the ball when Ruben Poz made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Octavio Maraman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Cordara in the 18th minute of the match. Aras Görkem Zümer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Maraman having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Cordara notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Crespo FC's Octavio Maraman. Octavio Maraman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Crespo FC's Ruben Poz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Wilfredo Cordara might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Maraman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Cordara ran back to his position shaking his head. Octavio Maraman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Cordara in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Wilfredo Cordara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Maraman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Octavio Maraman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Cordara went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Aras Görkem Zümer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Maraman having to interfere. Octavio Maraman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After the first half Chivos were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Chivos's Wilfredo Cordara got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Crespo FC's goalkeeper Octavio Maraman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aras Görkem Zümer. Wilfredo Cordara might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Maraman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Cordara ran back to his position shaking his head. Octavio Maraman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Cordara in the 60th minute. Octavio Maraman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Cordara went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Chivos's Romulo Pere was substituted for Aras Görkem Zümer. Chivos's Lindo Trabucco was substituted for Arsenio Garoa. After a defensive mix-up in Crespo FC's zone, Romulo Pere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Maraman came out of the goal and Romulo Pere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octavio Maraman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Wilfredo Cordara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Maraman having to make a save. Octavio Maraman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Cordara in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Cordara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Maraman was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
