Carboncito's Aquiles Joanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Carboncito from getting a goal against them. Pascual Rodriguez hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Domingos Jenaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingos Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Salamon in the 18th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Felix Valiente put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cuervos F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute Mauro Porfiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Jenaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuervos F.C.'s Domingos Jenaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Tomi in the 31st minute of play. Domingos Jenaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Porfiro in the 36th minute of play. Clodoveo Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Aquiles Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Perpinya, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Clodoveo Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Clodoveo Perpinya came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cuervos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Perpinya couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Teo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Columbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Vinicio Salamon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cuervos F.C.'s Domingos Jenaro. Domingos Jenaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Andres Bernal could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Domingos Jenaro however easily saved by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Cuervos F.C.'s Ciro Menendo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Joanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Joanes having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Leandro Romagnoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuervos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Carboncito's zone, Clodoveo Perpinya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Joanes came out of the goal and Clodoveo Perpinya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Rudolfo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Aquiles Joanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuervos F.C.. Cuervos F.C.'s Pastor Rudolfo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvano Joey, made in the 87th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Carboncito defense, Ciro Menendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Joanes. The Carboncito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Joanes should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, Cuervos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Menendo to maneuver through the defense. Cuervos F.C.'s Clodoveo Perpinya got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Cuervos F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
