Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicanor Ioritz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 10 minutes, Raul Resto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Duendes Verdes and the Latero players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Duendes Verdes got a freekick which was hit by Raul Resto. 12 minutes into the match, Duendes Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Medardo came free, but Rigoberto Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Harri during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Duendes Verdes's Cristo Harri got a free kick in the 16th minute. Angelo Medardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Rigoberto Gelmiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rigoberto Gelmiro made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Angelo Medardo sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Furman made a kick off. Eduardo Solustiano's late challenge caught a Latero 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Solustiano helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Duendes Verdes got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Solustiano. Ildefonso Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Bilbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Gelmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71stth minute of the game Angelo Medardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duendes Verdes's Rigoberto Gelmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Gelmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Furman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Angelo Medardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Latero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Latero walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
