The ALAMBRE de PÚAS fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when ALAMBRE de PÚAS's Rogelio Cisco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th match minute, French FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Normando to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Leonardo Peru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Leonardo Peru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Abeijon. French FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Peru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 25 minutes of play, ALAMBRE de PÚAS's Baltasar Felipillo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Acuña in the 28th minute of play forced ALAMBRE de PÚAS's goalkeeper Fausto Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. French FC's Florentino Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Cisco in the 34th minute of play. Fausto Bide made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Nicasio Artaldo sent off a good shot on target. Florentino Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Felipillo in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Laffitte in the 45th minute of play forced French FC's goalkeeper Florentino Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half ALAMBRE de PÚAS were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Artaldo was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes French FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Acuña. In the 59th minute, Leonardo Peru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Baltasar Felipillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Abeijon. French FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Felipillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Leonardo Peru scored 0-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentino Abeijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Normando in the 78th minute of play forced ALAMBRE de PÚAS's goalkeeper Fausto Bide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Leonardo Peru sent off a good shot on target. Florentino Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Alberto Laffitte notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of French FC's Florentino Abeijon. Florentino Abeijon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ALAMBRE de PÚAS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
